About The Role
Are you a hands-on accountant with strong year-end experience and available at short notice? We’re seeking a skilled Year-End Accountant to join a reputable and well-established player in the insurance industry on a fixed-term or contract basis, with a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a real impact.
The Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
Ideally, you will be a fully CA/CPA Qualified accounting professional or studying towards, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have strong Microsoft Excel skills, had experience working in a complex & high-volume environment and possess a positive "can-do" work ethic.

- Prepare and deliver accurate year-end financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure ledger accuracy
- Support statutory reporting and regulatory compliance
- Work closely with finance leadership on ad hoc projects and reporting needs.
