Your opportunity
The Credit Controller – National Tenants, you will manage National debt process and procedures in accordance with business operations and KPI’s
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage the collection of national arrears regularly being 7, 14 and 21 days each month including phone calls, email reminders and letters.
Ensure asset teams are operating in accordance with debt collection procedures.
Achieve Arrears KPIs.
Escalate national debtor queries/issues to the relevant Portfolio Managers/Senior Management.
Ensure arrears collection commentary is regularly maintained with updated progress reporting continually issued to Asset Management and Senior Management Stakeholders.
Deliver portfolio debtors reporting requirements including KPI reporting and trend analysis.
Proactively liaise with national/major tenant representatives to facilitate the collection of debt in accordance with requirements.
Review and reconcile national/majors tenant debtors accounts in accordance with business operational procedures.
Produce general lease related correspondence to national tenants and asset teams.
Respond to national/major tenant queries in a prompt and professional manner.
Build collaborative relationships with asset teams and national/major tenants as well as attending meetings as required to ensure proactive management and resolution of issues.
Initiate and manage tenants in administration and engaging with the appropriate internal/external stakeholders.
Adhering to internal reporting deadlines and providing accurate and high-qulaity outputs and quick responses to requests for information.
Assist with any projects or undertake additional duties as reasonably required.
Drive improvements and maximise efficiency of debt collection procedures.
Your point of difference
1-3 years’ experience in real estate agency, account receivables and debt collection
Property industry experience is essential
Demonstrated tenant account reconciliation and administration experience is highly desirable.
Exceptional internal and external relationship and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative and professional approach.
A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to solve problems as they arise and improve systems and procedural efficiency and effectiveness.
Exceptional administration, time management and organisation skills with a strong attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in relation to asset information.
A Willingness to learn and provide an innovative approach
A strong understanding of relevant legislation
