How will you make an impact in this role?
The Sales Analyst position is responsible for supporting the Sales behavior governance, Sales performance management & analysis for the International Card Services (ICS) business across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The position is part of the Field Performance & Insights (FP&I) team and reports to FP&I APAC Sales Manager.
Key accountabilities include:
Create Sales performance dashboard and analysis spanning all markets within the region. Expectations include:
- Streamline and simplify all relevant processes pertaining to Sales performance reporting/dashboards
- Development and production of Sales performance reporting/dashboards
- Frequent modeling and deep dive analysis
- Ensuring dashboard quality and consistency
- Provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders as required
Supporting projects & processes in areas such as:
- Supporting Global, International & Regional initiatives
- Supporting in monthly Headcount files and Targets management processes
- Supporting regional Sales planning & forecasting processes
- Managing the testing and creation of appropriate supporting for the FP&I APAC owned control procedures.
- Annual individual and leader target setting
- Annual scorecard design & alignment
- Colleague engagement
- Dashboard creation and maintenance
Partnering with key stakeholders such as:
- Senior Market leaders, business planners & analysts
- Analytics & Strategic Insights
- Amex technology teams
- Business Partners such as Incentive Design Governance, Global Services Group, ICS Centre of Excellence etc.
Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timelines in all activities and compliance with American Express Information Security Standards
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification required, Finance or Accounting ideal
- Required skills include:
a. Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
b. Solid SQL base/experience (Python as a bonus)
c. Tableau or Power BI
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
