About The Role

Our challenge is to safely and timely deliver stock between Melbourne stores during operating hours. You will play a vital role in linking our supply chain operations to our community of customers and stores.

As a Driver, You Will

• Accurately review and check-off orders prior to commencement of delivery
• Demonstrate care when loading orders into the delivery vehicle and careful delivery of stock to customers and store partners.
• Prioritise safe, time-efficient travel between delivery locations in line with the planned route map and time allocation
• Offer genuine and friendly service to our customers and store partnerships
• Verify the ID of anyone receiving orders that include liquor who looks under the age of 25
• Report any returned stock and ensure its safe return to the Warehouse after the delivery route is complete
• Maintain driving and delivery logs where required
• Demonstrate attention to detail and full compliance in all aspects of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and immediately report WHS concerns or incidents to the Manager
• Follow state driving laws and road regulations. You must hold a current, valid Australian Driver’s license and always have this with you when driving on shift
  
  

About You

• You hold a full Victorian or Australian drivers license
• Performs all tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and professional conduct
• A thirst for learning and acquiring new skills
• Enjoys physical work and can perform heavy lifting duties
• Self-motivated and efficient in the execution of daily tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Possesses the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• A team-player with a preparedness to put the needs of others ahead of their own
• Able to work Monday-Friday
• Consistent availability and flexibility to support your team in times of need
• Vehicle provided but to be safely maintained and advise management of any maintenance and performance issues.

• Any traffic offence incurred by the employee shall be the responsibility of the employee and any fines incurred will not be reimbursed by Blackhearts & Sparrows.
• It is illegal to drive over the prescribed alcohol and drug limits and the Company would treat any such breach as gross misconduct and take the appropriate disciplinary actions available to it. This may include the termination of employment. Any costs incurred due to this breach will be the sole responsibility of the employee.
