Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Officer to join their team in the Adelaide CBD.

As a Human Resources Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering effective human resources and payroll services, managing complex queries, and ensuring the smooth operation of workforce policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective human resources advice Liaise to internal stakeholders regarding complex queries.
• Provide quality advice and negotiate resolutions to complex and politically sensitive issues.
• Apply workforce policies and procedures to support employment conditions management.
• Prepare contracts of employment, process high volumes of payroll documentation, and reconcile timesheets within strict deadlines.
• Manage a schedule of work with competing demands.

Key requirements:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build constructive relationships.
• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Experience within Human Resources and/or Payroll.
• Ability to manage high volumes of work with competing priorities within strict deadlines.
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in computer-based databases, spreadsheets, and software packages including Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience interpreting industrial instruments such as employee enterprise agreements and awards.
