Key Responsibilities
Depending on the level (APS6 or EL1), responsibilities may include:
- Coordinating project planning, reporting, and risk management activities
- Managing stakeholder engagement and communications
- Monitoring project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Preparing project documentation, briefings, and status reports for senior executives
- Supporting governance processes, including committee coordination and reporting
- Leading work streams or mentoring junior staff (EL1 level)
We Are Looking For Candidates Who
- Have experience in non IT project management or coordination in government or a related environment
- Possess strong organisational and communication skills
- Can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrate sound judgement, initiative, and strategic thinking
- Are familiar with project management methodologies
- Australian citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline (APS6) or NV1 (EL1) security clearance
- Qualifications in project management, public administration, or a relevant field are desirable
