SAP Basis - ERP Monitoring

Introduction

We are seeking a Package Consultant specializing in SAP Basis ERP Monitoring. The successful candidate will be part of our dynamic team, working on complex projects to ensure robust the management and measurements for our clients' SAP HANA environments.

Your Role And Responsibilities

• SAP System Implementation and Upgrades:** Upgrade of SAP systems according to client specifications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting:** Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex issues within the SAP Basis environment.
• System Monitoring and Performance Optimisation:** Monitor SAP systems to ensure peak performance, implement performance tuning, and conduct regular system health checks.
• Security Management:** Implement and manage SAP security settings and user administration, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal regulations.
• Backup and Recovery Planning:** Develop and maintain comprehensive data backup and recovery procedures, testing them regularly to ensure they meet the required service levels.
• Project Leadership and Mentoring:** Lead smaller SAP Basis projects, providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
• Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:** Maintain up-to-date documentation of all SAP systems, processes, and configurations. Conduct effective knowledge transfer to end-users and other IT teams.
• Stakeholder Communication:** Liaise with clients, understanding their needs and translating these into technical requirements. Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
  
  

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Must have an active AGSVA Baseline Clearance, preferred to have AGSVA NV1 Clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Mandatory to be on site 5days a week.
• In-depth understanding of SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery procedures.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

3-5 years of experience in SAP or related IT areas is preferred.
