About Us

The Network Management team is responsible for the day-to-day operation, support and oversight of our client’s network infrastructure, encompassing wide area networks (WAN), local area networks (LAN) and data centres. The team ensures the performance, security and reliability of the network is in line with our client’s compliance and operational requirements. We proactively manage and respond to events across the entire network eco-system, from edge devices to core infrastructure, minimising downtime and ensuring uninterrupted operations for our client’s services. We oversee all aspects of network health, including fault detection, capacity management and performance optimisation.


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead a team of Network Engineers responsible for the reliable operation, performance and security of our client’s critical network infrastructure. The role requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and experience in managing ITIL-based service operations, including incident, service request, problem and change management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Network Management Team, ensuring effective network operations, monitoring, and service continuity across multiple sites.
  • Oversee and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and WAN/LAN environments.
  • Handle escalated incidents and major outages, ensuring prompt resolution, communication, and accurate documentation.
  • Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices, while driving continuous service improvement and compliance.
  • Support team development, including mentoring, performance management, recruitment, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors, while generating reports and acting as a key escalation point for high-priority issues.


Experience Required

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, customer service, and project management within a technical operations environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in network operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, with a strong background in customer-focused IT support.
  • Practical experience managing ITIL-aligned service operations, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Proven HR and people management skills, including team development, conflict resolution, delegation, and performance oversight.
  • Strong track record in building and maintaining a positive, proactive team culture.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid hands-on experience in managing complex network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and WAN/LAN across multiple sites and data centres.
