We are recruiting for 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) to be filled by either Permanent Full-Time, or multiple Part-Time appointments. Sessions are negotiable for part-time appointments. This role is available now and will be filled immediately.

What is our Consultant Physician - Nuclear Medicine role?

We are seeking to appoint suitably experienced and committed individuals to the role of Consultant Physicians - Nuclear Medicine to deliver exceptional Health outcomes and contribute to our dynamic team.

Role

As part of a multidisciplinary team, this position leads the provision of clinical nuclear medicine services to patients, including general nuclear medicine, PET and radionuclide therapy. In this role you will also:

  • Promote patient safety and quality of care.
  • Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.
  • In collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants work to achieve national, state and NMHS performance standards and targets.
  • Work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Medical Credentialling and Scope of Clinical Practice Committee.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
