About This Opportunity

RAAFA is excited to announce a new opportunity within our Retirement Living division! We are seeking an enthusiastic and goal-orientated Leasing Coordinator to support the General Manager - Retirement Living (GMRL) in managing RAAFA’s Retirement Estate living waitlist. This role will be instrumental in driving occupancy and working closely with Estate Managers to lead and support the end-to-end sale/leasing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain occupancy levels for independent living units within RAAFA’s retirement living estates.
  • Conduct all leasing in accordance with the Retirement Villages Act 1992 (WA) and other associated legislation ensuring sale/leasing documentation is understood by incoming residents.
  • Provide day-to-day advice, guidance and directions to staff in relation to the leasing process and contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Review contract documentation created by estates for quality assurance and compliance.
  • Provide feedback to through the Estate Manager regarding any issues identified with refurbishments.
  • Respond to enquiries for potential residents. Contact and screen potential residents on waiting lists in consultation with Estate staff, to ensure they are suited to Retirement Living.
  • In consultation with senior management, review Retirement Living unit pricing on a regular basis to ensure RAAFA’s pricing structure is in line with market values and expectations. .
  • Be prepared to travel between RAAFA’s retirement living estate (metro areas)

The Role And You

  • Experience in the Retirement Living industry or similar, understanding of legislation, contract and waitlist management.
  • Proven experience within leasing in Retirement Living.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in financial management and factors affecting Retirement Living.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Outstanding communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills that delivers effective leadership, builds and develops teamwork, establishes successful working relationships with a focus on customer service.
  • Time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
  • Ability to apply quality assurance, continuous improvement and customer service principles in the delivery of service.
  • Current National Police Clearance and valid WA driver’s license.
