Location preference: Shepparton, VIC

An Inventory Specialist at Carbon Robotics will work with the field teams to support all shipping and receiving. You’ll do whatever it takes - which might include going to the farm - to ensure our customers have reliable and safe products.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for receiving and shipping service spare parts, materials and supplies at the warehouse shop, on-site role.
• Update inventory management system on time for every movement received or delivered.
• Tracking purchase orders and shipments from suppliers and also between internal inventory shops/locations.
• Examine maximum and minimum levels of service spare parts, materials and supplies to determine shortages.
• Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory.
• Taking wall-to-wall physical inventory counts.
• Ensure inventory location is clean and in order all the time.
• Setup bins, shelving and organize storage tracking system for all service spare parts.
• Understand and apply 5S methodology in workspaces and processes to increase efficiency and safety.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or evidence of exceptional experience.
• Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or Inventory Management Software, ERP.
• Experience using Excel.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Some physical lifting and moving of materials required.
• Desire for solving customer issues and advocating for their success in a fast-paced and unstructured environment.
• Familiarity with materials and components supporting computers, servers, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other related disciplines is preferred.
