About The Role
You will be working with a participant who requires:
- Manual handling and full hoist transfers
- Assistance with personal care and mobility
- Transport to access the community (appointments, recreation, shopping, etc.)
- Confidence and experience with high physical support needs
- A reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
- Flexibility with shifts, which may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
- Valid ABN (can be easily registered if you don’t have one yet)
- Cert III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Current Police Check (within 3 years)
- Valid First Aid (within 3 years) & CPR (within 12 months)
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Full Australian working rights
- Experience with hoist transfers and high-intensity care
- Higher pay rates as a contractor
- Paid travel time and transport allowance when using your vehicle
- Choice and control over your work schedule
