We are currently looking for an Associate to join our Financial Services practice, based in Melbourne. Working with highly experienced financial services Partner Lucinda McCann you will work on a variety of matters covering:
- Front end advisory work, with an emphasis on governance, prudential regulation and conduct regulation in the banking, superannuation and insurance sectors
- Advising on domestic and off-shore investments for superannuation trustees
- Strategic regulatory engagement and risk advisory, covering regulatory approvals and regulatory response and investigations, enforcement and remediation in the superannuation, insurance and banking sectors
- Board and governance arrangements
- Business establishment and product development including licensing, product distribution and disclosure
- Corporate (fund and other regulated mergers and consolidation)
- 2 + years PQE
- Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
- An interest in working in cross-border matters
- Practice growth and teamwork mindset
