PAY RANGE: genU Training Enterprise Agreement General Staff from $40.82 per hour + 11.5% super

NOT-FOR-PROFIT: Salary package up to $15,900 per annum (FBT year) + additional meals & entertainment benefits up to $2,649 pa

Following the recent merger between Activ Foundation and genU, this newly created role is based in Perth, WA and will work closely with both organisations to support the ongoing delivery of high-quality, impactful training solutions.


You’ll join Activ Pathways, one of our two Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) which operate under the genU umbrella. genU Training and Activ Pathways continue to operate separately, each with its own scope and strengths—but both share a common goal: empowering people through learning and skills development.


As the Training Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation and execution of a range of engaging accredited training programs across Western Australia. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering high-quality education to diverse audiences, including jobseekers, existing workers and school students.



Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and coordinating nationally accredited qualifications and skill sets
  • Ensuring TAC and DTWD compliance and driving continuous improvement.
  • Delivering dynamic training sessions tailored to client and community needs.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand Activ Pathways’ presence across WA.
  • Organising trainers, venues, and supplies for successful course delivery.
  • Maintaining strong communication with stakeholders, including secondary schools.
  • Collaborating closely with management and supporting effective execution.


This role requires occasional state based and interstate travel



About You:

The Training Coordinator will show high level problem solving, organisation and time management skills. You will be a people person, with outstanding communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and in collaborative team.



Essential Requirements include:

  • Understanding of units of competency and accredited training/assessment
  • Understanding of relevant quality and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong administration and office management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in the coordination of nationally recognised training or other adult education.
  • NDIS Screening Workers Check or willingness to obtain
  • Knowledge and experience within an RTO is highly desirable.
