Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Lawyer to join our dynamic team full-time. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our Principal Solicitor and a dedicated team, gaining exposure to a variety of legal matters.
Criteria
- Experience: Ideally, 3-5 years PAE, however, we welcome applications from all candidates who believe they are well-suited for the role.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to engage confidently with clients and counsel.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling legal documents and case details.
- Time Management: Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- Leap Proficiency: Familiarity with Leap legal software (desirable, however not mandatory).
- Writing Skills: Excellent grammar and clear, concise writing.
- Communication: Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Court Appearances: Represent clients in court proceedings.
- Drafting Documents: Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and briefs to counsel.
- Client Meetings: Conduct client consultations to provide legal advice and updates.
- Case Management: Manage and run your own legal matters.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Principal Solicitor and other team members on various cases.
