Clinical Pharmacist Grade 2 - Rotational GH Campus: Ballarat Permanent full time (40 hrs/week with ADO) and part time hours available
About This Role
This role involves the provision of high quality unit based clinical pharmacy services including the opportunity to undertake credentialing for Partnered Pharmacist Medication Charting (PPMC) and other advanced scope of practice programs, and to train in specialty clinical streams such as critical care and medical specialties. Possible rotations to operational services including dispensing and compounding services and the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) may occur. Professional development is supported through regular in-service education including journal club meetings and support for seminar/conference attendance. In addition, professional support is provided through team-based structures as well as formal education programs including SHPA residency programs.

- Provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services (assessment, intervention, advocacy and consultation)
- Effective patient flow principles
- Mentoring and clinical supervision of learners at all levels including pharmacy students, interns, residents and other Grampians Health staff
- Pharmacy and multidisciplinary team education programs and meetings
- Currently hold or be eligible for general registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA
- Prior clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital is preferred
