Organisation Description

LWHC is a not-for-profit charitable organisation providing holistic, trauma-informed health and wellbeing support by women for women. We offer a wide range of services including medical care, counselling, casework, naturopathy, acupuncture, massage, and a wide variety of group programs designed to empower women in our community. Based in Liverpool CBD with staff parking onsite, LWHC was established in 1975 and is a proudly feminist service.


Role Description

This is a part-time on-site Operations Manager role located in at Liverpool, NSW. The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the center, manage and support staff, coordinate services, and ensure quality care delivery to clients. The role involves implementing organizational policies, procedures, and processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

This role will monitor service implementation, identify operational challenges, and report on performance, compliance, and risk management to the CEO.

The Operations Manager will foster a positive workplace culture, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to help staff thrive.

This role will be part of an established supportive Operations Team that works together to ensure smooth functioning of our service using a continuous improvement framework, sharing resources, skills, and ideas, and assisting colleagues to maintain a professional standard in the operation of the Centre.


Qualifications

• Experience managing day-to-day operations in a community health service or similar organisation, ensuring alignment with policies and funding agreements.

• Proven ability to manage staff performance, provide professional development, and foster a positive work environment.

• Knowledge of compliance requirements, including health, safety, risk management, and accreditation processes.

• Experience in implementing strategic plans and managing health programs and community initiatives.

• Ability to develop detailed report and presentation. 

• Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting, providing insights and regular updates.

• Ability to provide services in a multicultural context and respect diverse client needs.

• A demonstrated commitment to feminist principles and practice and knowledge of women’s health issues
