About the role

In this high-impact role, you will plays a pivotal role in the management of all Finance functions to effective outcomes in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation, whilst also ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.


How you'll make an impact

  • Prepare and review allocated monthly departmental profit and loss, including variance to budget analysis of gross profit, sales, direct costs and selling, general and administrative expenditure
  • Partner with relevant departmental managers and provide professional advice and support from a financial acumen point of view
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual result reporting in Honda Motor's global financial reporting platform
  • Prepare and review detailed product margin analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and maintain accuracy of financial data
  • Support the Financial team on technical accounting policies and audit processes
  • Contribute to project based finance activities and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Other relevant financial reporting duties and ad hoc tasks as and when required.


What you'll bring to Honda

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting or equivalent, or similar relevant experience in a related field.
  • A professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA) or working towards an accounting qualification, is required.
  • Management accounting experience is required
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to elicit insights from large amount of data
  • High level of accuracy & attention to details
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to identify core issues and formulate constructive countermeasures
  • Ability to develop proposals based on the insights with strong logic and deliver to stakeholders effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Dedication to deliver high quality output and to adhere to commitment
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • SAP experience will be highly regarded
