About the role

As a Marketing Specialist in our Marine division, you'll be at the helm of crafting and executing a unified marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals. You'll dive deep into insights and data to support both short-term and long-term marketing objectives, driving the growth of our marine business.

In this role, you'll be the captain steering us towards our targets, delivering impactful marketing strategies and plans. You'll be the voice of our consumers, understanding their needs and translating those insights into growth for our marine team. How you'll make an impact

• Review objectives, strategies and develop marketing plans accordingly
• Manage the retail marketing program
• Implement retail merchandising plan
• Optimise efficiency and effectiveness on limited budgets
• Collaborate with the website team to deliver the best experience and journeys for marine consumers
• Develop process for assessing & reporting on performance, identifying gaps and provide strategies to address the gaps
• Work with wider team of project managers to keep calendar of activities on track
• Keep stakeholders informed of plans and initiatives of the marketing function

What you'll bring to Honda

• 6+ years of experience in a Senior Marketing, Brand or Digital Marketing role
• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business, or related field of study
• An understanding of marine, boating, fishing lifestyle (desirable)
• Proven experience in marketing communication, retail marketing, and significant digital marketing expertise
• Proven ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, and enhance business performance.
• Demonstrated experience in generating actionable insights from complex data sets
• Extensive experience in managing advertising and media agencies
• Ability to set and maintain clear accountabilities with department and agency partners
• Strong project management, verbal, and written communication skills
• Sound knowledge of the marine industry is highly regarded, or a proven track record in franchising/ retail industry
