Our client is seeking a Senior Technology and Security Specialist to join their team in Canberra. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of disciplines including RF hardware design, software configuration, testing, and completing systems engineering documentation and procedures. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team, sharing their knowledge to aid in improving staff understanding.
As a Senior Technology and Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in undertaking the design, integration, testing, and documentation of engineering subsystems. You will be responsible for planning, designing, managing, executing, and reporting tests using appropriate tools and techniques. Your role will also involve producing technical documentation and assisting in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures. You will undertake testing and fault finding using electronic test equipment of RF communications systems and components.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Technology and Security Specialist role brings a wealth of experience in system component design using appropriate modelling techniques. You have proven your ability to investigate and resolve system-wide fault conditions using a wide range of diagnostic tools. Your experience extends to designing detailed functional test cases and scripts covering various scenarios. Desirable skills include experience in Satellite communication, an Electrical Trade Certificate, application of ARPANSA RF Standard, and experience in RFoIP technologies.
