Per hour About the role Grampians Health is seeking a motivated hospital pharmacist with established clinical and emerging leadership skills to work closely with the Pharmacy Stewardship Program Coordinator to help drive the expansion of existing Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Sepsis programs, across a large and diverse multi-campus regional health service.

Per hour About the role Grampians Health is seeking a motivated hospital pharmacist with established clinical and emerging leadership skills to work closely with the Pharmacy Stewardship Program Coordinator to help drive the expansion of existing Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Sepsis programs, across a large and diverse multi-campus regional health service.
- Enjoy opportunities to participate in establishing new and emerging medicines stewardship programs
- Professional development is supported through regular in-service education including journal club meetings and support for seminar/conference attendance

- Provide day to day management of antimicrobial stewardship and sepsis programs throughout Grampians health by promoting optimal use of antimicrobials
- Provide clinical advice and leadership support for continued implementation, embedding sustainable expansion and evaluation of future medicines stewardship programs
- Assist with monitoring key performance indicators for stewardship programs through data collection, analysis and reporting
- Pharmacy and multidisciplinary team education programs
- Currently hold or eligible for general registration as a pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience in the provision of hospital pharmacy services, with knowledge of relevant NSQHS accreditation and Clinical Care Standard
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage stakeholders to achieved desired outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organise, prioritise and manage time with ability to deliver outcomes to agreed timelines
