# Responsibilities
As a Junior Design Manager, your responsibilities will include:- Drafting and preparing conceptual models and documentation for design and tendering.
- Supporting design administration through:
- Matrixes for tracking and compliance
- Design programme development
- Meeting agendas and minutes
- Document control and version management
- Managing RFIs
- Issuing and tracking consultant tender packs and assisting in consultant engagement
- Reviewing design options with a focus on quality, constructability, and cost
- Assisting in the selection of FF&E, interior finishes, sanitary and electrical fixtures for projects
- Coordinating with internal and external design teams to ensure timely delivery of high quality documentation
- Supporting the Design Manager in ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client expectations
# Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:- Drafting experience (highly regarded)
- Background in architectural, building design, or engineering design (highly regarded)
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are not essential but will be viewed favourably
- A proactive individual eager to grow their technical skills and thrive in a hands on construction environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for design excellence
