The Technical Software Services (TSS) Team: Driving Innovation and Excellence, TSS are a cornerstone of Arup’s global Digital Technology Group (DTG), playing a pivotal role in delivering and supporting cutting-edge Information Technology across the firm. This global team of technical specialists excels in engineering platforms (CDEs) and design tools, with a strong focus on the Transport, Buildings, Water, and Energy sectors.
By collaborating closely with global business leaders, skills leaders, and delivery teams, including the wider BIM and Automation teams, TSS ensures seamless integration and optimal performance of our technical software solutions. The Opportunity

- Leading a team of Technical specialists, whilst interfacing globally, to support the business in project delivery, and the adoption of the best in class engineering tools and platforms.
- Design, implementation, operation and support of EDMS and CDE services in AUS/EA ensuring meets agreed SLA’s and/or client requirements such as conformance to British and International Standards (BS1192, ISO 19650) and data residency requirements.
- Key responsibilities include maintaining and managing our core AEC engineering application portfolios from Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI, and Trimble, with a specific focus on their integration between disciplines and defined EDMS and CDE solutions.
- Collaboration closely with Project Directors, Managers and engineers across the business to define needs and requirements, whilst working as part of a global team of technology specialists delivering solutions to the business.
- Innovation - working closely with vendors and technology providers to implement robust services within Arup that improve project delivery and align with business needs.
Is this role right for you?
- Prior working experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
- A good understanding of the Design, implementation and operation of EDMS and CDE systems
- Strong leadership and decision making skills
- Effective and personable communication skills and a flexible, adaptable approach to providing solutions that meet changing business requirements
- Working knowledge of ISO19650 and other international industry standards
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and standards
