We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-sand analytical Pricing System Analyst to join our Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will support the accurate pricing, processing, and revenue recognition of customer contracts, while contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and processes, as we grow as a global organisation.
This role would suit candidates who are looking to move from leading professional services firms, into their first Client-side role where you will develop your varied experience and have a platform to develop a rewarding career.
What you'll be doing…
- Interpret customer contracts and process revenue transactions in line with internal policies.
- Create pricing quotes ranging in complexity from simple to highly complex.
- Collaborate with Sales to clarify deal terms and resolve pricing or contract issues.
- Troubleshoot and escalate quoting and system-related issues as needed.
- Prioritise quote requests based on urgency and available information.
- Issue customer invoices when required.
- Participate in daily pricing stand-ups to align on tasks and resolve challenges.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of finance procedures and pricing systems.
- Support and test new software revisions or system enhancements.
- Assist with the enhancement of IT systems used by the pricing and processing team.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline systems, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies, procedures, and WHS (Work Health & Safety) requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across pricing and finance operations.
Your Talents…
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience, preferably with commercial finance or pricing exposure.
- A degree (or active study) in Finance, Business, or a related field is essential.
- Technical aptitude or background in Information Technology is desirable.
- Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., formulas, lookups, basic data analysis) are required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to effectively and maturely communicate and negotiate in writing and verbally with stakeholders across all levels.
