About The Role

We’re looking for a Digital Strategy Workstream Leader to join our Customer Business Unit, on 12-month max term contract opportunity. In this role, you’ll help us shape our Digital future state and, working with our Digital Product owners, develop the roadmap to get us there. You’ll also be responsible for guiding and supporting any team members assigned to your area, ensuring strong collaboration with the Digital Team and the Customer business and delivering successful outcomes. Other aspects of the role include:

  • Lead the development of our future state Digital Strategy and the roadmap to follow through the transition
  • Plan the scope and delivery of your own workstream and assist with planning across other workstreams within the program
  • Identify key stakeholders across the business and, in collaboration with the Change team, develop and execute effective communication and engagement plans to support adoption of new ways of working
  • Lead the successful delivery of assigned initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and aligned with program goals
  • Monitor progress and track delivery against key milestones, keeping stakeholders regularly informed
  • Proactively identify risks and obstacles, and develop practical solutions to address them
  • Partner with process owners to ensure new systems and processes are seamlessly integrated into day-to-day operations
  • Work with Finance and the Performance Assurance team to track and report on the benefits delivered by each initiative. Provide clear, regular updates to senior leaders
  • Promote lasting change by creating reinforcement strategies and celebrating key successes along the way

About You

To be successful in this role you will have extensive leadership experience within medium to large organisations, which operate in complex and regulated service environments, with a deep understanding of customer needs and knowledge of the market, and a proven ability to guide large-scale initiatives. Other things we’re keen on include:

  • A strong grasp of best-practice project management, with proven experience across key areas such as scope, time, quality, people, communication, cost, risk, and integration
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering outcomes—even in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Solid commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, build persuasive business cases, and drive initiatives that deliver measurable value
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage teams to high performance
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, able to build alignment and secure outcomes across diverse stakeholders
  • A high-performance mindset—open to feedback, eager for challenge, and committed to raising the bar
  • Strong people and thought leadership, ideally gained in complex or fast-evolving organisations
  • A sharp commercial focus with the ability to balance competing business priorities and deliver value
