Permanent Full Time | 40 Hours per week + ADO
HS3 | $37.68 - $41.65 per hour
About the Role
The purpose of this position is to manage the staff and functions of the Switchboard/Enquiries team to deliver quality, person centred services to Grampians Health (GH) consumers. Functions of this team include processing of external and internal telephone calls, calling of emergency codes, responding to patient, visitor and staff enquiries and facilitating communication, patient and visitor flow.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and issue staff rosters in line with EBA requirements; manage daily updates in Roster On, including shift changes, reconciliation, and paylock.
Promote a respectful, communicative, and supportive team culture; address and resolve staff concerns, complaints, and misconduct transparently and in accordance with policy.
Hold regular team meetings and maintain open communication channels to keep staff informed and engaged.
Allocate and monitor duties to ensure completion; provide structured training and conduct annual Performance and Development Reviews (PDRs).
Lead recruitment activities to build a cohesive team; deliver onboarding and ongoing training for both new and current staff.
Maintain working knowledge of daily operations; evaluate, document, and refine processes to enhance service delivery; availability for on-call duties as required.
