About The Role

As a Legal Assistant, you will provide critical support to a busy legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks, maintaining high-quality client service, and managing a range of administrative and legal support duties.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Delivering professional and timely service to clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
  • Preparing legal documents, briefs, correspondence, and court materials
  • Supporting legal practitioners with court hearing preparation
  • Managing file administration including opening, closing, archiving, and document filing
  • Assisting with the coordination of medical and legal reports
  • Providing broader administrative support across the team as required

About You

Skills

You are a team-oriented, detail-focused individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality support. Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous customer service experience (essential)
  • Legal administration experience (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong digital literacy
  • A calm, proactive approach, even in high-pressure situations
  • The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
