Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations, you’ll support project financials end-to-end, from budget management to reporting and analysis. You’ll partner with colleagues across the business to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and aligned with project and organisational requirements.
Key Aspects Of The Role Include
- Managing project budgets and tracking financial performance against funding agreements
- Preparing monthly reports and supporting analysis for the Head of Finance and Leadership Team
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance financial processes and systems
- Supporting audits, reconciliations, and the delivery of accurate, high-quality financial reports
- Contributing to planning, forecasting, and proposal development across key projects
- CA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years’ experience in management accounting or project finance management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate financial reports and reconciliations
- Confident working with Excel, Xero, and Salesforce (or similar systems)
- Effective communicator with the ability to partner across teams and build strong relationships
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines in a project-based environment
- Experience in life sciences, clinical trials or similar service-based sectors
- Understanding of financial processes related to government-funded projects
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
