Your role

As Project Manager in our Adapt team, you will be responsible for the delivery of commercial fit outs and refurbishments on light projects, typically up to $1 million.

Success in this role is achieved through developing and managing the program schedule and project resources and activities, to ensure targets for safety, time, cost, and quality are delivered to the satisfaction of all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

You will effectively manage commercial and contract aspects of the project and proactively resolve issues or obstacles while keeping the client informed. Building relationships with key clients, stakeholders and subcontractors, you will represent the company as an approachable workplace expert, committing to our ‘client for life' philosophy.

About You

You are degree-qualified with a Bachelor of Construction Management or similar and have a minimum of 5 years' experience successfully managing projects up to $1 million in value. You are a passionate leader, committed to coaching and mentoring the team, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the construction industry (ideally fitout and refurbishment).

You are an effective communicator with the ability to adapt to different audiences and situations to reach mutually beneficial outcomes. You collaborate effectively, sharing your knowledge and fostering trust amongst the team.

With a commercial focus, you are committed to quality and safety as much as the financial success of the project. You can adapt to change and manage competing priorities effectively, while maintaining focus on commitments and goals. Proficient in Microsoft suite, you also have experience in relevant construction software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar systems.
