Reporting to the IT Infrastructure/Network Manager, the key focus of this role is to act as an escalation point to the IT team as well as maintaining the group’s server and network infrastructure. More specifically, you will:
- Manage and triage escalated service desk incidents and service requests by providing excellent technical assistance and customer service to all employees
- Aid in the installation, configuration, maintenance and monitoring of server and infrastructure hardware, software and related systems.
- Escalate issues to external technology partners as required, whilst maintaining ownership of the issue to resolution.
- Be involved in the preparation of recommendations for capital replacements and systems improvements to management.
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- A minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a similar senior administrator role, within a medium to large enterprise is preferred
- A broad technical background with experience supporting and administering a large and diverse environment of technologies (including but not limited to, Microsoft Servers and their roles, Microsoft Cloud ecosystem, Azure and Microsoft 365, networking, virtualisation including VMware and Hyper-V, backup solutions and security is desirable).
- Customer focussed with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem-solve and clearly communicate technical instructions remotely
- High attention to detail
