This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time or Fixed Term Full Time appointments with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

Position Profile: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join our dynamic Community Health team. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with exceptional leadership skills to significantly impact the health and well-being of a designated community.

As a Clinical Nurse Manager, You Will

  • Provide visionary leadership and guidance to a team of nurses (registered and enrolled), other health professionals, and support staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting professional development and optimizing team performance.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, accessible healthcare services that address the specific needs of the assigned community.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement evidence-based best practices.
  • Oversee adherence to the highest standards of nursing practice and lead the implementation of necessary changes within your designated area.
  • Manage and optimize resources to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

This role is ideal for a registered nurse with a proven track record in clinical leadership and a commitment to community health.

About Child & Adolescent Community Health (CACH): Community Health provides health and developmental assessments, early intervention and health promotion services for children and young people.

These services are provided in the community across the Perth metropolitan area at community health centres, in schools, home visits and through telehealth appointments. Services focus on child health, growth and development, behaviour, immunisation and supporting families.

Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. Fixed term and/or casual contracts can be held by individuals on visas that allow working rights within Australia.

Requirements

Your ability to meet the work-related requirements will be assessed throughout the recruitment process. For your written application please provide the following:

  • A statement addressing the selection criteria 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 9 in no more than 4-5 pages.
  • A current resume which summarises your experience and includes both phone and email contact details of two professional referees, with at least one being a recent supervisor/line manager.
