Your New Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Portfolio Planning, the focus of the role involves working closely with the sponsors, business initiative owners, internal subject matter experts and other stakeholders to elicit relevant information to define and document business requirements, perform analysis support duties and provide advice and assist in the delivery of Fund projects and initiatives undertaken by Member Portfolio Management team.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Support Member Portfolio Planning activities and manage the domain backlog, front door and associated tools.
  • Consult and manage stakeholders to collaborate and deliver improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct high level business analysis, defining and documenting business, information and process requirements.
  • Facilitate the identification, assessment and approval of portfolio change requests.
  • Provide guidance and support to initiative owners to progress their ideas including development of robust business case and benefit realization metrics.
  • Work along with the Senior Analyst to support & drive the Discovery initiatives in collaboration with the business owner.
  • Critically evaluates business solution information and customer data requirements, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high level information into details and identifies existing, new and external data sourcing needs.
  • Understands various data and digital concepts and terminologies, including highly technical content, and express them in a clear and concise manner.
  • Effective communication skills, risk management involves identifying and analysing risks, developing strategies to mitigate them and monitoring and reviewing risk management plans regularly.

What you'll need

  • 5+ years working in a general Business Analysis is essential.
  • Strong experience in superannuation operations.
  • Strong ability to engage and liaise with internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of project life cycles and documentation.
  • Project coordination skills and experience as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
