The opportunity

We're looking for a Product Owner for Insurance to join our Digital & CX team within the Marketing & Growth business unit for a 12-month maximum term opportunity. In this role, you'll take charge of delivering digital features that align to our Digital Roadmap as well as member needs, creating a clear vision to guide delivery teams and align stakeholders towards common goals.

You'll collaborate with business stakeholders and experience designers to shape ideas into digital experiences that align with UniSuper's strategy. Working across digital platforms including our mobile app, you'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, prioritising initiatives, and leading delivery teams to successful outcomes.

This is a chance to operationalise our digital strategy, develop lean business cases that clearly define business value, and ensure our digital experiences align with brand, product, risk and security requirements. You'll be data-driven, using analytics and member insights to inform decisions and monitor channel performance.

About you

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Digital Product Owner
  • Experience delivering digital change using both agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
  • Data-led approach with high competence using Google Analytics to gain insights
  • Comfortable working with both CX designers and web developers
  • Self-starter, logical thinker, and quick learner with strong initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Commerce, IT engineering etc.)


Ideally, you also have:

  • Experience within superannuation or finance, and/or ecommerce
  • Knowledge of Sitecore and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience working on iOS and/or Android apps
  • Scrum product owner certification
  • Project management experience
