At Invacare, we pride ourselves on delivering the best service to our clients and customers and we are now excited to be recruiting another skilled Technician to join our Auburn based team on a full time, permanent basis.

About the role
A typical day will see you actively hands-on with various tasks, working with tools, parts and equipment to build and script power wheelchairs and other rehabilitation/medical equipment. You’ll interact with customers from time to time and will provide technical support, advice and solutions.

In addition to building equipment, you’ll also inspect, repair and service existing equipment for our customers with a strong focus on service, accuracy and good record keeping. When needed you will provide hands on support to our tight-knit warehouse team working in close collaboration to meet the changing daily demands, enhancing, and prioritising our ability to deliver to our customers.

About you
You’re inquisitive, enjoy learning and take pride in your technical or mechanical aptitude. Attention to detail is a must and you’ll understand the importance of getting it right, every time. Our teams work cross functionally and collaboratively and your willingness to participate and contribute where your efforts are most needed will see you thrive in your role.

Bring your:

• Proven technical ability
• Experience in a similar role (automotive, auto electricians are highly regarded)
• AS/NZ 3551 certified and previous warehouse experience is desirable
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Great customer service skills
