We're currently on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Security Systems Specialist1 to support our critical security technology infrastructure during a time of exciting transformation.
eAs a Security Systems Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for maintaining and enhancing our security software applications, with a strong focus on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS) and CCTV. This role plays a key part in ensuring our terminal’s safety and security, especially as we roll out the new Security Screening Project (SSP).
You'll be integral to the successful integration of new screening technologies, providing hands-on support for system updates, troubleshooting, vendor management, and continuous improvement. Your expertise will help ensure our security systems remain robust, reliable, and ready to support the evolving needs of Terminal 1.

Key responsibilities:
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting and maintaining EACS and CCTV systems, ensuring they operate efficiently
- Monitoring system status, alarms, and uptime, with active intervention when issues arise
- Managing service desk tickets and working closely with the Applications Support team during upgrades
- Coordinating system design and integration for new CAPEX projects
- Managing vendor relationships to ensure KPIs are met in line with service agreements
- Configuring access permissions for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitoring hardware lifecycles and contributing to asset replacement planning
- Leading camera view management in collaboration with operational stakeholders
- Experience working with enterprise-level servers, security software, and field hardware
- Hands-on knowledge of legacy and modern EACS and CCTV systems
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and aviation security principles
- Practical experience with CCTV analytics integration
- Familiarity with platforms such as Genetec, Picture Perfect, and Cyberlock
- Ability to manage contractors, budgets, and vendor SLAs effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills – able to explain technical systems in simple terms
- Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work within complex project environments
