Key Responsibilities

As a law graduate at Quantum Law Group, you will work under the supervision of senior lawyers and Partners across a variety of legal matters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with legal research and the preparation of memoranda, advices, and court documents
  • Drafting correspondence, contracts, and other legal instruments across multiple practice areas

  • Attending client meetings and case strategy sessions with supervising solicitors
  • Participating in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, property documents, and compliance-related materials
  • Assisting with due diligence, discovery, and evidence preparation for complex litigation or transactional matters
  • Managing matter workflows and file administration, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are prioritised
  • Engaging in business development activities and contributing to legal knowledge initiatives within the firm
  • Participating in in-house training programs and continuous professional development

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

  • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD), with eligibility to commence or currently undertaking Practical Legal Training (PLT)
  • A strong academic record, with sound legal reasoning and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting and editing abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisation, and time management
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, professional, and solutions-focused mindset
  • A strong interest in one or more of the firm’s core practice areas, including litigation, corporate and commercial law, property law, or family law
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • High standards of integrity, discretion, and accountability
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
  • A high level of computer literacy and confidence using legal practice management software and digital tools
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
  • An ambitious, motivated, and results-driven attitude, with a genuine desire to build a long-term career in private practice

At the conclusion of your probation period, your performance and capabilities will be assessed to determine your long-term placement within one of the firm’s key practice areas.
