The Role

My client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being on-site and is ready for state-wide travel. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of ground construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects, working closely with project teams and clients across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage on-site ground construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Embrace and enjoy regular national travel to project sites.

Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer in ground construction, rehabilitation, or maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of ground engineering principles and construction practices.
  • Ability to interpret and implement project plans and specifications.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and a genuine willingness to travel.
