The Role
My client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being on-site and is ready for state-wide travel. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of ground construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects, working closely with project teams and clients across Australia.

The Role
My client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being on-site and is ready for state-wide travel. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of ground construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects, working closely with project teams and clients across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage on-site ground construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Embrace and enjoy regular national travel to project sites.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in ground construction, rehabilitation, or maintenance.
- Solid understanding of ground engineering principles and construction practices.
- Ability to interpret and implement project plans and specifications.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Valid driver's license and a genuine willingness to travel.
