In our Sydney Treasury and Capital markets (TCM) – Recovery and Resolution team, you will assist firms in preparing for recovery and resolution planning interactions with regulatory bodies, such as APRA. You’ll undertake specialist reviews of recovery and resolution planning (CPS 190/CPS900), benchmark firms’ approach to recovery and resolution planning within the industry, and collaborate with the wider firm on best practices.
About The Team
Our TCM team are seeking Recovery & Resolution specialists to provide market-leading advice, supporting the stability of banks and other financial institutions, in BAU and throughout periods of financial stress, recovery, resolution and restructuring. The team works closely with colleagues across the firm to bring leading advisory experience and broader strategic solutions to clients.

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:
- Recovery and resolution planning across a range of business models and firm structures, including groups and subsidiaries of firms.
- Technical knowledge and practical experience in the prudential regulatory environment in the financial services industry, particularly concerning recovery and resolution planning. This may be from working in another consulting firm, as a regulator for financial services firms or in the industry.
- Practical and/or regulatory experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Assisting firms in preparing for and/or follow up arising from regulatory interactions on recovery and resolutio
- Hands-on experience of dealing with firms in distress, including in a restructuring role
- Knowledge of the latest regulatory developments around recovery and resolution
- Practical experience in stress testing and crisis simulations with banks or insurers
- Proven track record in working effectively in a team and managing priorities/deliverables on a range of projects.
- An ability to deliver a high-quality service and manage a diverse range of clients simultaneously.
- Able to build and foster trusted and lasting client relationships.
