We are seeking capable and experienced Inventory / Supply Chain Practitioners with a strong background in Defence logistics operations, particularly with hands-on experience using MILIS and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environments. This client-facing role is instrumental in supporting logistics optimisation, data integrity, and supply chain assurance within high-profile Defence programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance inventory, procurement, and supply chain processes within Defence programs.
  • Manage daily logistics activities using MILIS, ensuring asset visibility and stock accuracy.
  • Convert MILIS data into actionable insights and integrate these workflows within SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Provide expert advice and support to client teams, aligning logistics operations with Defence policies and requirements.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to promote compliance, efficiency, and ongoing improvements.
  • Oversee process mapping, system integration, and performance reporting as necessary.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience with MILIS in Defence logistics, warehousing, or asset management.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, especially inventory and logistics modules, and experience with ERP transitions.
  • In-depth understanding of Defence logistics policies, procurement procedures, and inventory control systems.
  • Ability to confidently operate within client environments, demonstrating clear communication and cooperative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced projects, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Must have current or reinstatable AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance; NV-1 clearance is highly regarded.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Defence sustainment or acquisition programs.
  • Understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Integrated Product Support (IPS) in both acquisition and sustainment phases.
  • Capable of facilitating training, knowledge transfer, or user support in Defence ERP environments.
