About the Role
The department is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to Canon’s customers by providing dedicated, focused and specialist support to meet agreed business objectives. The main focus will be on deploying printers, secure print software and managed services related projects. It involves acting act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication of project updates, risks and issues. This is a hybrid role reporting to the Manager – Project Management Office.
Main Duties
- Define, lead, plan, monitor, control, and deliver small to medium-sized customer projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality, meeting both customer and Canon expectations.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication of project updates, risks, and issues.
- Track project expenses and ensure costs align with the approved project budget.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and effectively manage customer expectations.
- Assign tasks and manage team resources to ensure efficient allocation of project team members.
- Ensure project financials are settled and successfully handed over the project to business as usual.
- Monitor project risks and issues, escalating to the Project Manager as needed, and support the implementation of mitigation strategies
You will possess a sound understanding of PMO frameworks and processes coupled with PMO Governance. Your business acumen and experience in hardware deployment projects is crucial to the functioning of this role. Key Skills & Experience include:
- Experience in delivering Hardware related projects
- Competent Understanding of Project Management.
- Understanding of PMO Governance
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification (desirable)
