Due to continued growth in our business, we have a full-time permanent opportunity available for a Forklift Driver/ Storeperson to join our Spare Parts warehouse in Dandenong South. We are looking for an experienced High Reach Forklift driver with picking experience.
Key duties include:
- Use of High Reach MHE for order picking, Bin Replenishments and put away of stock
- Ability to multi skill across a variety of warehouse tasks, including checking and wrapping of orders
- Ensure tasks are picked and confirmed within agreed timeframes, reporting daily exceptions to the Warehouse Team Leaders
- Ability to multi skill across a variety of warehouse tasks, including some technology of:
- RF handheld devices
- MHE equipment
- Desktop PC: Elementary level system admin/input
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately:
- The correct use of the relevant WMS equipment
- The correct quantity of packages and weights are recorded
- Accurately record all inward and outward inventory movements
- Work with the warehouse management team to assess & prioritise daily workloads
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Carry out all warehouse duties as directed by the warehouse management team
- Ability to work additional hours when required to meet deadlines
- Follow and maintain TTI company policies and procedures
What the successful candidate will bring:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
- Valid forklift Licence LO/LF with 3-5 years’ experience. High Reach Experience is essential
- Intermediate PC and Microsoft Office skills
- Previous experience of using RF handheld devices and working with a warehouse management system (WMS) are advantageous
- Team Player – maintain close working relationships with all other employees within the business
- Good communication skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative
- Results and achievement focused, honest, reliable and have a strong work ethic
