Operational Risk Analyst

A dynamic organization in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Operational Risk Analyst to join their team. In this role, you'll play a key part in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks while driving compliance and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

This high energy role will see you lead the delivery of audits, some major and/or highly complex, which provide internal customers and partners with critical assessments of governance, risk and internal control frameworks.

• Conduct risk assessments to identify operational vulnerabilities and develop actionable strategies for mitigation.
• Analyze internal processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain risk management policies and frameworks.
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and provide regular reporting to leadership, highlighting trends and areas of concern.
• Perform investigations into operational incidents and lead root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Assist in the design and execution of risk training programs for relevant stakeholders.
• Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and emerging threats to proactively recommend process improvements.
  
  

Your Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications preferred).
• Proven experience in operational risk management, audit, compliance, or a similar role within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data effectively.
• Excellent understanding of risk management frameworks and tools.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams at all organizational levels.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
