The Opportunity

Based in Footscray, this is your chance to become part of a dynamic team, helping job seekers thrive by increasing their readiness to work and securing sustainable employment or training opportunities. As an Employment Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of empowering others, working collaboratively with your team, and contributing to a supportive and united environment. We’re looking for trailblazers who are savvy, passionate about making a difference, and ready to drive success in this exciting and rewarding role.

This Will Include Activities Such As

  • Build strong relationships with job seekers through regular interactions.
  • Create and maintain tailored Job Plans for each individual.
  • Identify job seekers' barriers, goals, and career preferences through assessments.
  • Provide 1:1 coaching and support.
  • Connect job seekers with external specialists to overcome barriers.
  • Collaborate with employers to support job seekers during the hiring and onboarding process.

About You

You will be an ambitious, adaptable, and personable self-starter with a passion for customer service and drive to have a positive impact within the community including: 

  • Strong customer service skills, ideally face-to-face, with a focus on outcomes
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and maturity
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and work in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and embracing change
  • Collaborative mindset and experience engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • Understanding of job seeker challenges (Employment Services or Case Management experience highly regarded)
  • A current driver’s license and the ability to travel
