What the role looks like

As a Project Manager at CareSuper, you’ll report to the Manager, Project Delivery, and play a pivotal role in bringing strategic initiatives to life. Being responsible for:

• Championing the CareSuper project management framework
• Managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
• Providing leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
• Full project life cycle ownership including developing and managing all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues
• Reporting on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
• Providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
• Managing ongoing quality control and participating in quality issue resolution
• Championing framework practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organisation
• Developing progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, Board and key stakeholders

Who are we looking for?

• Experience successfully managing large end to end projects
• A strong background in financial services ideally within Superannuation
• A natural collaborator who thrives in complex environments and brings clarity to ambiguity
• Excellent communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• A structured yet adaptable approach to project delivery, with strong time management and attention to detail
• Skilled in online project management tools, with formal project management qualifications (preferred)
