Our Digital presence is extensive, and we operate a highly equipped in-house digital marketing & ecommerce operation that is responsible for over 200 campaigns at any point in time!


Our dynamic and fast paced operation is based in Preston and we are now seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the team. This is a newly created role and you will be reporting to the Data Analytics and Insights Manager. This role will play a key part in assisting digital team with the data and reporting strategy.


What you will do

  • Lead the development and maturity of the digital analytics, reporting, and insights function, including the creation of dynamic dashboards to empower internal stakeholders and external partners with real-time, actionable data.
  • Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of analysts and data specialists, overseeing workload prioritization, upskilling, and performance development to ensure high-quality analytical output and business impact.
  • Direct website tracking strategies by implementing and maintaining Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager frameworks, collaborating with developers and external agencies to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Extract and communicate insights from website analytics and customer journey data to inform digital strategy, user experience improvements, and product development initiatives.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of digital marketing performance across channels (paid, organic, email, social), supporting campaign optimization and ROI growth through data-driven recommendations.
  • Design and executed a data governance framework for digital platforms, ensuring data integrity, access control, and compliance with industry standards and privacy regulations.
  • Lead customer data integration efforts, aligning behavioral, transactional, and demographic data for enhanced segmentation, personalization, and lifetime value analysis.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing management of consent management platforms, advising on data capture strategies and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Oversee the tagging strategy and analytics infrastructure, aligning stakeholders to ensure scalable, business-aligned measurement implementation.
  • Provide strategic leadership in campaign performance analysis, delivering executive-level reporting and recommendations to optimize digital promotions and customer engagement.
  • Enable scalable data access and advanced analytics through Google Cloud Platform (GCP), managing large datasets and leveraging tools such as BigQuery for insights generation.


What we are looking for

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in a digital analyst role. Working at agency/publisher side preferred
  • Experience leading a team of data analyst to generate insight.
  • A love of numbers and data and a willingness to make decisions based on key data points.
  • Good knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and customer data platform
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing/advertising platforms and metrics
  • Proficient with SQL and experience with cloud databases
  • Basic knowledge of SQL/BigQuery and attribution model
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Proficient with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI (desirable)
