About This Role
Our sites in Albany are very excited to offer a Trainee Sonographer opportunity!
The role can be a full-time or part-time position, depending on candidate circumstances, reporting to the Chief Sonographer and Tutor Sonographer working within usual business hours.
For suitable candidates an undergraduate degree in the health field is mandatory to be eligible for suitable postgraduate study. Ties to the Great Southern Region of Western Australia is highly advantageous.
Candidates need to possess relevant professional background in health, including hands-on experience and knowledge of industry practices.
The successful candidate will undertake intensive on-site training and must commit to further post-graduate university studies to obtain qualification in medical ultrasound.
What we're looking for;
Relevant professional experience within the health field, with suitable undergraduate qualification.
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
Excellent communication skills with efficient written and verbal communication with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team. Also, proven communication with a strong patient care focus.
Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking.
Good organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
