Stellarossa Coffee began in Brisbane in 2009, and since then, we’ve grown throughout Queensland to include kiosks, cafes and drive thru cafes. About the Role
Working in the kitchen at Stellarossa Bernoth Centre Cafe, you'll be busy preparing delicious, fresh meals for dine-in and takeaway. You'll be involved in every aspect of the process including prep, frying, grilling, plating, cleaning, organising, and ensuring all of the necessary checks and balances are taking place. There's a menu that changes every 6 months, and lots of room to infuse some flair with daily and weekly blackboard specials, events, and cabinet goodies. We also operate on Doordash and Uber Eats. This is a casual position for 12-15 hours.
For Kitchen Team Members:
- Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to Stellarossa’s recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
- Support the team in managing kitchen operations and ensuring food quality.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients with a focus on improving efficiency and workflow during busy periods.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook or chef.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
A responsible, reliable, mature and structured disposition
High energy and productivity levels.
Openness to learning and following systems.
