Group General Manager - Strategy & Governance

As Group General Manager - Strategy & Governance, you'll drive the development and execution of strategic initiatives that improve product security, service delivery, and customer experience across our R&D teams. Reporting to the CTO, you'll work at the intersection of strategy, innovation and leadership-overseeing enterprise security, compliance, architecture and UX.
What you'll be doing…
- Build capability and drive innovation across all technology functions
- Manage key stakeholder and vendor relationships in a complex environment
- Ensure alignment across product roadmaps to support business objectives
- Lead the planning and execution of enterprise-wide initiatives, including innovation programs and governance frameworks
- Continuously drive operational excellence and identify areas for improvement
- Provide leadership to a high-performing team, including:
- Head of Security & Compliance
- General Manager - UX
- General Manager - Enterprise Architecture
- Specialists in risk, compliance, front-end design, and architecture
- Oversee operational strategy, product P&L, and long-term commercial and customer outcomes
- Own product growth and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets for specialised products
- Lead resource allocation and investment planning aligned to strategic priorities
- Guide the development of enterprise architecture strategy
- Champion a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Develop future leaders and support ongoing team growth and success
Your Talents…
- A strong commercial mindset and a deep understanding of SaaS product development, from concept to retirement
- Proven success in leading large, cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Significant experience in a senior leadership role within a medium ASX listed or equivalent enterprise
- Skilled in enterprise architecture, product governance, risk management, and customer-focused innovation
- Confident engaging at the executive level with CTO, CFO, COO and CEO-level stakeholders to influence investment and strategic direction
- A strong network across enterprise customers and industry leaders in Australia and New Zealand
- Known for fostering high-performing cultures and delivering business outcomes through strong leadership and collaboration
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is essential; a Master's degree is preferred
