SYNOPSIS:

The Outreach Programs Convenor sits within two National Gallery departments: Learning and Art Across Australia. The National Gallery Learning Team deliver programs and events that support education and lifelong learning, working with audiences across adult programs, kids and families, young people, students and teachers and access. We deliver programs onsite, online and offsite to engage national audiences with the National Collection and artistic program. Art Across Australia is responsible for the planning and coordination of key initiatives and activities across the country. The Outreach Programs Convenor supports other National Gallery initiatives as required, including the production of events such as the biennial National Visual Art Education Conference. The Outreach Programs Convenor may also provide programming and production support to other Learning Team programs as required.
