About The Role
As the People Partner – Culture & Employee Relations, you’ll work closely with AE’s leadership and HR Director to guide and support our people during a pivotal transformation phase. You’ll play a central role in shaping employee experience—from managing complex ER cases to driving leadership development, improving onboarding, and embedding best-practice HR approaches.

Key Focus Areas
- Partnering with leaders on performance, conduct, and culture challenges.
- Leading end-to-end ER case management, including investigations.
- Enhancing onboarding and early engagement to reduce staff turnover.
- Designing and delivering professional development and manager capability initiatives.
- Supporting the rollout of culture change programs that promote inclusion, safety, and trust.
- 5+ years in a people-focused ER or HR role within a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
- Solid understanding of Australian employment law and Modern Awards.
- Confident coaching leaders and navigating sensitive or complex people issues.
- Strategic, emotionally intelligent, and solutions-driven.
- Play a key part in shaping the employee experience at one of Australia’s most established private education providers.
- Collaborate with passionate professionals across a supportive, agile team.
- Work within a purpose-driven organisation that genuinely values culture and people.
